A long time ago in the land before online narcissism, one of my earlier forays was as an illustrator of a biblical adaptation by a religious cult, The “G” Word. I was the editor of student paper Empire Times in 2004, comics published within earned me a rare condemnation from the Flinders Universty Student Council. In 2006 I started & ended the zeen series Simon Gray:2006, & spoke on panels about it @ The National Young Writers Festival. My stuff has appeared in, Pop Culture and Two Minute Noodles, YOU, the cover of Leigh Stardust’s They Make Good Pets (But I Don’t Have One), Fistfull of Comics, On Dit, More Secret Pictures of You, The State of Being Mad/The Act of Thrusting Oneself in Where Not Wanted, & another of my own zeens, The Fake Bitter Milk. Other stuff I did included organising (w/ Leigh Stardust) COMBYAH: The Peter Combe Tribute Show @ The Jade Monkey, & the most remote Australian zeen fair ever, in Pt. Augusta. I currently volunteer for Format, minding their zeen shop.
